After 34 years of committed service to Slope Electric Cooperative, Dean Volk, Operation Manager and Chief of Staff, is retiring. Volk began his career with Slope Electric in 1991 as a lineworker after working at KEM Electric Cooperative for seven years. Over the years at Slope Electric, Volk advanced his career from apprentice lineworker to operations manager and chief of staff. Volk has enjoyed providing an essential, critical service to members and maintaining that service.
