Calling all high school senior, juniors and sophomores in the Slope Electric service area - both members & non-members! Get ready for an electrifying experience at our two-day conference aimed at showcasing the exciting world of energy careers right here in our state.

Why attend? From coal mines to power plants and cooperatives, dive deep into the heart of North Dakota's energy sector. This exclusive tour offers hands-on experiences and expert insights that will broaden your understanding of energy production and distribution. The tour will also introduce you to professionals who are shaping the future of energy in our state. Learn about different career paths, technological advancements, and the pivotal role you could play in powering tomorrow's world.
Who can attend?
- 2025-2026 high school juniors, sophomores and freshman are interested in exploring careers in energy.
- Students are curious about the diverse opportunities within North Dakota's energy sector.
- All students interested in energy careers within Slope Electric's service area are encouraged to apply. Students do not have to be a dependent of a Slope Electric member.
Registration Details: Applications for the 2026 Career Tour will open on March 5, 2026. All applications must be submitted by May 1, 2026.
Limited spots available! Slope Electric will select 10 students to participate and join other students from KEM Electric, Mor-Gran-Sou Electric and Roughrider Electric totalling 40 students from across the state. Registration for the 2026 Career Tour will become available in late fall.
