- Be wary of grammar and spelling errors, generic greetings, and unusual payment methods (like gift cards). Slope Electric will not demand immediate payment over the phone or via prepaid cards. Be cautious of threats of immediate service disconnection if payment isn't made. Slope Electric will provide multiple notices before taking such action.
- Report any suspicious utility related scams to Slope Electric at 701-579-4191.
- Keep updated on common scam tactics and warnings issued by Slope Electric and consumer protection agencies.
